Description: The Parks Department is offering a 10 week session of several different co-ed calorie burning classes led by professional instructors. Classes include: Insanity, Turbo Kick, P90X, MixxedFit, Country Heat, and Zumba.

Description: Getting out and hiking is a great way to spend time as a family (plus get some exercise). There are a handful of trails to hike near Phoenix. Difficulties range from easy all the way to challenging. If hiking on your own doesn’t appeal to you, there are options for guided tours as well (these tours may have a fee). This brochure gives you lots of helpful tips for the trails and information on where to find a guided tour.

Description: Reservations are required to take the tour. This tour runs about 1 hour long and is great for the whole family. You will take an open air tram through the farm where you will stop and see some calves and make your way through the rest of the farm. There is even a short stop at a small playground so the little ones can burn off their energy. If you want to make a day of it, Shamrock Farms even lets you bring a picnic lunch.

Description: Car shows are great for kids and adults alike. Anyone who loves cars will have a great time at a car show. This is a whole list of FREE car shows in and around the Phoenix area. If you find one that interests you, be sure to check and make sure it is still running on time since the list goes out so far, changes can occur.

Description: Since there is no threat of snow, Food Trucks can be out all year long. The food trucks change locations and the trucks that are out frequently. You can check their website to see what trucks are out and where they are located. Food trucks are also available for rental.
