About Margie Moore
Margie was raised in a small town in southern Oregon, then spent 20 years living all around the country and overseas while serving in the US Air Force. She moved to Phoenix in 2005, and has lived in the middle, the West Valley, and the East Valley. Her experiences traveling and moving to new neighborhoods have given her a unique perspective on how useful a site like this Phoenix Living on the Cheap can be!
Some of her favorite things to do are:
- Check out the many trails in South Mountain Park, the largest municipal park in the US
- Meet for coffee or a salad at Lux
- Listen to new bands at Crescent Ballroom
- Find interesting books and hear authors speak at Changing Hands
Margie loves to spend time with her daughter, hike and backpack, volunteer, read, and learn new things. She especially loves to meet new people and help make the most of their time and money here in Arizona, whether they’re visiting for a weekend or have been living here their whole lives. There are many free or cheap and fun things to do here that she wants to share!
