No, I’m not a “wino” but do I love my wine? Yep. Everyday. A good bottle of wine pairs well with just about any occasion. It’s great for Celebrating, when you’ve been stood up at the bar, mending a broken heart, binging on Hallmark movies. Yep wine works. Oh, and it goes with almost anything you eat.
Trader Joe’s is home to an impressive selection of, well, any wine. From Chianti and a basic Cotes du Rhone to even Barolo, Amarone and Napa Valley Cabernet Trader Joe’s offers a little bit of everything often at prices that make you wonder is this for real?
While I can’t say I am an expert in wine, I do think I am one of most looking for a good wine while on a budget. After trying many wines from recommendations, and searching the World Wide Web for the most deliciously affordable bottles of wine, I’ve come up with a list of favorites that keep my budget in line and a selection at home for, well, any day.
Its crisp, refreshing wine is great on its own or with a delicious nosh. And the bottle is beautiful to look at.
2. Vignobles Lacheteau Muscadet
Price: $6.99
Best if you serve it really cold, this Muscadet wine is perfectly paired with seafood.
Price: $5.99-8.49
This is a smooth, dry, and fruity pinot that tastes like it costs more than it does wine. It’s perfect for a dinner party where you want the impress without going broke.
Price: $3.99 – 5.49
The grapes in this Chardonnay come from the Murray Darling grape-growing area of South Eastern Australia and has a fruity, moderately oaky taste.
Price: $7.99
A decent Torrontes is usually about double this price so this wine is a real bargain. It’s fruity (but not sweet) and will go well with almost any meal.

This Gavi is exclusive to Trader Joe’s and is perfect for a summer meal.

From a bottle that looks like this don’t you think it should probably cost more than $5.99? Well, it doesn’t. You get this excellent bottle of Spanish red for the price of a fancy coffee. Wine or coffee? Wine please

Both of these wines are sure to make you want a second or third glass, and you can’t beat the price.

This is my everyday wine. Home from work, open the bottle and yep, its just me and my wine time.

With a bit of green apple and melon, it makes a light summery choice. ( but go ahead, drink it anytime)
